Crown Chakra (Sahasrara)

"I Know"

The color associated with this chakra is purple.  The Crown Chakra connects us to higher consciousness and pure awareness ~ it is the center of enlightenment, dynamic thought, truth and oneness.   This chakra is about wisdom and being one with the world.   When this chakra is open, you are unprejudiced and quite aware of the world and yourself.  This chakra is located at the highest point in your body, the crown (top) of your head.  

Overactive:

• intellectualize too much, addicted to spiritual issues

Underactive:

• lacking fundamental connection, learning difficulty, spiritual cynicism, need to be right, limited beliefs

• spirit

• amethyst, purple fluorite, clear quartz, diamond 

Scents:

• frankincense, jasmine, rosewood, or sandalwood

• pineal gland, top of the spinal cord, brain stem, pain center and nerves
