Animal shelters and sanctuaries are a wonderful place to include Reiki!
Many times animals are surrendered to shelters and the fear, the stress and the unknowing the animal is going through can be very difficult for them to deal with. Some animals have never had a warm and loving home and sharing Reiki with them is such a special gift. Since Reiki can be shared via direct contact or distance, there is no stress to the animal ~ only love and healing. Reiki is not only good for the animals of the shelters, but it is an amazing gift for the caregivers who give so much of themselves.
Are you a groomer whose animal clients would benefit from receiving Reiki?
Grooming a pet can sometimes be stressful on the animal. I would love to work with you to ease that stress by sharing Reiki with the furry love either prior to grooming or afterwards. Make the grooming experience one they remember and look forward to again and again.
Are you a trainer who works to see that the guardians of animals are shown properly how to train them ~ how to use love and positive reinforcement to help make them the best dog they can be?
If you are, Reiki would be a wonderful complement to any training program. Including Reiki at the beginning of a session can help calm the pet so they are in the right frame of being to receive the training. Sometimes training can be stressful on the pet, and possibly a session afterwards would be just the thing to bring them back to balance. Either way - Reiki can only help. In the picture to the left Jackie is learning the "leave it" command at Big Tail Waggin! I cannot thank them enough for the wonderful training she received.
Veterinary offices are the perfect place for Reiki!
Having worked in a veterinary office, on several occasions I had the privilege of sharing Reiki with animals after surgeries and also during their transition from this physical world ~ it truly was a blessing. What a wonderful service to offer to your clients. If you would like to discuss this further, please feel free to contact me.
Whether you are a groomer, a trainer, a shelter, a veterinary office, or in some other way connected with animal clients, do more than just meet your client's expectations, EXCEED them. Incorporating Reiki into your practice shows you are concerned with the physical, mental and spiritual well being of the animals they entrust to you.
