Moxi from Mississippi is June's Lucky Winner!

Thank you to Pat for entering Moxi* and a HUGE thank you to Moxi for being open to receiving Reiki!

Moxi

Moxi

As I began working with Moxi this morning she immediately connected with the Reiki energy and all I kept hearing was "is this for me?" - over and over again.   It was as if she could not believe this beautiful gift was for her and her gratitude was so huge it was incredible.  For most of the session what I experienced was pure gratitude.

As I came to her 3rd chakra (solar plexus) I felt like this chakra needed deep healing.   Interestingly, after the session was over I looked at what part of the endocrine gland is involved in the 3rd chakra and it is the pancreas.

After the session I discussed details with Pat and learned about Pat's former dog, Biskit, who passed away a year ago in April.   Pat was sharing with me how the family loved Biskit and she was hoping Moxi is not picking up on the loss.    Moxi may absolutely be feeling the family's loss of Biskit and that is why she was so grateful for this to be all about her - just her.   Since the 3rd chakra is what picks up vibrations from people/places/things, I do believe Moxi is picking up on the family's love and loss of Biskit.   Animals sense our feelings more than you can imagine, they take our pain from us so we can heal, it is just what they do and it is their gift to us.

While at the 3rd chakra I also saw Moxi laying in a field of dandelions, absorbing the healing from the color yellow. Yellow is the color associated with the 3rd chakra and it is my impression that the color yellow will assist in balancing Moxi.   I also learned that Biskit was a yellow lab.    I suggested Pat get a yellow toy or something yellow that she can have around, to remind her that this is her time to be confident in who she is.

At the end of the session I saw a rainbow above Moxi.   Now that I have learned of Biskit's passing I have no doubt that that rainbow was Biskit's way of showing us that she is at the Rainbow Bridge and she is also right there with Moxi telling her now is her time to shine.

I cannot thank both Pat and Moxi enough for letting me share this beautiful experience.    When two souls meet and become one there really aren’t words to express what transpires.   Thank you Moxi for your love, your openness and may Love and Light continue to surround you as you learn who you truly are...

Pat's response to my session:

"Words cannot express my gratitude, Michele! I can hardly see the keyboard through the tears, but they're good tears. I expected the possibility of some type of healing for Moxi. I did not expect in the process healing for me as well. I realize we've all in some way been comparing Moxi to Biskit, the good and the bad. We've been dealing with health issues in one form or another since we first got Moxi and haven't really taken the time to bond directly with her. I guess deep down I was afraid if I gave everything to Moxi I would be dishonoring Biskit in some way even though I know that's bunk. It is definitely Moxi's time now! And I will make sure she knows that every day! And I know now that's with Biskit's blessings, too. Thank you again Michele!"

 *  I strongly believe in paying it forward.   In that vain, each month one animal from the epi4dogs family will be selected for a free Distant Reiki session.    Our lucky winner for June is Moxi from Mississippi, who was entered in the drawing by her person, Pat.    Some months I will be posting excerpts from the Reiki session to show and teach people what can happen during a Reiki session (each animal is different and every session will also be different).   Thank you Pat for the opportunity to share Moxi's session with others.
